Some stuff I like to do in my free time.

Sports

I grew up playing sports and spent my childhood involved in basketball, soccer, track, swimming, and skiing. In high school, I started going to the gym but unfortunately herniated a disc in my lower back, affecting my athletic abilities. Nowadays, I enjoy watching the NHL, NBA and NFL, and run an intramural basketball team at my university.

Board Games

My friends and I occasionally like to relax and play some board games. One of my current favorites is Catan. Other games I enjoy, though debatable as board games, include chess and poker (though I don’t consider poker a board game, it fits here). During my exchange in China, I also developed an interest in mahjong.

Reading

I used to read a lot as a child, but high school made me dislike it due to summer reading assignments. These days, I find myself reading before bed whenever I have the time. Some of my favorite books include The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel, Animal Farm by George Orwell, and The Comfort Book by Matt Haig.

Writing

I also used to dislike writing, with English class being one of my least favorite subjects in school. However, after reigniting an interest in reading, I decided to give writing another shot. I’m still quite a beginner and just exploring this new hobby. We’ll see if it sticks. I write about topics that pique my interest on Medium.

In 2024, I spent six months traveling, with one month in the United Kingdom and five months in China. Four of these months were dedicated to an enriching exchange program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. This journey provided me with incredible experiences and countless memories, some of which I’ve captured in the images displayed below.
